Dongying Li is currently an associate professor at the school of foreign languages and cultures in Nanjing Normal University. Her research interests mainly include second language writing, second language pedagogy and teacher education. Her work aims to foster learners' agency and autonomy, empowering second language teachers and establishing researcher-teacher partnerships in innovating L2 curriculum design. Currently, she works on a project innovating EFL classroom pedagogy drawing from multiple learning resources as well as enhancing interdisciplinary and cross-cultural dialogue to inform the praxis of evidence-based research.
